Chartwell Agency Receives Six MarCom Awards;  
Receives Two Highest Honors

Chartwell Agency recently received recognition from the MarCom Awards, an international competition honoring excellence in marketing and communication while recognizing the creativity, hard work, and generosity of industry professionals.

Among the awards Chartwell received were two of the highest honors – Platinum Awards. Chartwell also earned two Gold Awards and honorable mentions for two videos produced by the Chartwell team.

The MarCom Awards, which are administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, is one of the largest and most-respected creative competitions in the world. Each year, about 6,500 print and digital entries are submitted from dozens of countries. Categories are focused on all marketing platforms, including print media, digital media, strategic communications, and video. Special recognition also is given to pro bono work.

Chartwell received the following MarCom Awards:

  • Platinum: Alignment Rockford Annual Report. Chartwell Agency designed a “Look Book” style annual report for Alignment Rockford. The goal of the design and report was to visually engage key audiences and highlight current – and future – impact and significance of the organization. The annual report aligned with Alignment Rockford messaging, promoted the organization’s goals, and could be used as a standalone marketing piece effective throughout the year.
  • Platinum: Winnebago County Animal Services Website. Chartwell Agency developed the new website for to better reflect the organization and its many services, as well as improve access to information about responsible pet ownership, animal safety, and more. By integrating with the organization’s new shelter management system, adoptable pets are updated on the site in practical real time, and community residents can easily begin the adoption process online.
  • Gold: NI ReACH Website. Chartwell Agency created a new website for Winnebago County Housing Authority after its rebrand to Northern Illinois Regional Affordable Community Housing (NI ReACH). The site provides an intuitive, contact-free way for potential residents to learn about and apply for affordable
    services offered by the organization.                                                            
  • Gold: Edgebrook Shops Marketing Campaign. Chartwell created the“Everyday. Unexpected.”marketing campaign to feature Edgebrook Shopping Center’s merchants and to ensure shoppers knew the incredible mix of shopping, restaurants, and services offered at the outdoor mall. The campaign centers around the products and services in playful “mash-ups,” highlighting the breadth available at Edgebrook and infusing a youthful energy into sharing those products, services, and stories.
  • Honorable Mention: Lucha Cantina Video. Chartwell began a vlog series for Edgebrook Shopping Center’s website to help feature the variety of merchants at the outdoor shopping mall. In this vlog, Lucha Cantina partners with a local meteorologist to highlight the delicious and versatile drinks sold at the bar and restaurant. The goal of the vlog series is to highlight merchants while also developing them in an evergreen fashion to recruit customers year-round.  
  • Honorable Mention: Keith Country Day School Video. Chartwell developed a video for Keith Country Day School to highlight the impressive education given at Keith through testimonials. Ten families were interviewed about the attributes of the school and the video was then edited to just over three minutes. The video is pointed, graphically pleasing, easy to follow, and delivers a concise message.
