Getting Back to Life: OrthoIllinois Spine Commercial

OrthoIllinois, a regional leader in orthopedic and spine care, serves patients across Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. As demand for spine services continues to grow, OrthoIllinois sought to connect with patients in a way that felt emotional, reassuring, and grounded in real outcomes.

To support this goal, OrthoIllinois partnered with Chartwell Agency to develop a patient-centered commercial focused on clarity, trust, and life after pain.

Solution

Chartwell created a 30-second, multi-platform spine care spot that followed a father’s journey from chronic back pain to renewed mobility. Emotional storytelling paired with clinical reassurance highlighted OrthoIllinois’ minimally invasive care and comprehensive, coordinated approach.

Execution

Script Development: Chartwell led the refinement of the script, shaping the narrative that balanced emotional connection with clinical clarity to build trust while clearly communicating the care experience.

Production Management: Chartwell managed all production logistics, including location scouting, detailed shot planning, and scheduling. The team collaborated to coordinate crews, talent, and timelines, and to cast on-screen and voiceover talent to ensure the right tone across video and radio.

On-Site Production: Chartwell led on-site creative direction across a two-day shoot, guiding talent, coordinating with the production crew, and making in-the-moment adjustments to ensure storytelling, accuracy, and production quality stayed true to the campaign vision.

Multi-Format Use: The commercial was produced for television broadcast, CTV, social media distribution, and radio, ensuring message consistency across platforms.

Outcomes

The commercial strengthened OrthoIllinois’ brand reputation as the leader in patient-centered spine care, combining clinical credibility with emotional resonance to reach and engage audiences across multiple regional markets and through various platforms.
