Chartwell Agency Earns Four Viddy Awards

Chartwell Agency, an award-winning marketing firm based in northern Illinois, recently received four Viddy Awards from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.

Now in its 28th year, Viddy is one of the oldest, largest and most respected awards programs in the video industry. The program recognizes excellence in the way video is created, produced and delivered and received more than 50,000 entries from over 100 countries.

Chartwell Agency was recognized by Viddy in the gold and honorable mention categories. The firm received the following recognitions:  

Gold:

  • Meridian Trust “The Real Deal” Commercial: Chartwell Agency helped Meridian Trust, a full-service credit union, develop a: 30 and :15 second commercial that stands out in a crowded marketplace of financial institutions. Using a lighthearted and fun tone, the firm played off the popular television program, The Bachelorette. In the spot, the bachelorette must evaluate the qualities of several institutions before presenting the final rose to her “forever credit union.”

  • Highland Community College President’s Report: As part of the college’s annual President’s Report, Chartwell Agency developed a visually appealing and engaging video to supplement a mailer and webpage. The video featured the president of Highland Community College, a public community college in Freeport, IL, sharing details on how the college was expanding and enhancing its programs and offerings and building on its 60-year legacy.

Honorable Mention:

  • Edgebrook Farmer’s Market Vertical Short: Chartwell Agency developed a short 45-second video to promote Edgebrook’s summer farmer’s market. Edgebrook, a local shopping center with a unique blend of eclectic boutique shops, excellent restaurants, convenient service-oriented businesses and seasonal events, wanted a video that would highlight its unique neighborhood shopping experience and how the weekly event brings it to life. The video was used for organic social media posts and paid ads.

  • Rock Valley Credit Union (RVCU) – “Totally Here For It” Campaign Video: Chartwell partnered with RVCU to develop a sequence of engaging social media videos to drive volume and build brand awareness for the credit union’s certificate of deposit product. The winter-themed video, “Snowball Your Savings? Totally Here For It,” shows a family building a snowman in the front yard of their home and the spring-themed video, “Watch Your Money Grow? Totally Here For It,” is of a mother and daughter watering garden plants – each leaning into how RVCU is “Totally Here For It” in partnering with families to help grow their savings through certificate of deposits.
