Cassi Steurer

As a Director at Chartwell Agency, Cassi Steurer focuses on marketing initiatives for Chartwell clients, with a concentration on the education sector. She works with clients to provide thoughtful strategies that align with their business goals, elevate their brand, enhance their visibility, and better connect with their audiences.  

Understanding how to leverage various communication tactics for greater impact is a passion Steurer has honed over the more than 20 years she has spent working in communications, content strategy, development, marketing and public relations for companies and organizations including AMCORE Bank (now BMO Harris Bank), Rockford University, and United Way of Rock River Valley. At Chartwell, she has worked with clients in a variety of industries including education, finance, food service, healthcare, nonprofit and retail.  

Her past and current clients include Rockford University, Highland Community College, Monmouth College, Racine Unified School District, The Meadows School, Rockford Public Schools, Racine Unified School District, Larson & Darby, Gordon Food Service, RAVE, Rockford Bank & Trust, Savant Wealth Management, OrthoIllinois, Hononegah High School, First Free Rockford, and OSF Saint Anthony.

Steurer serves on The Mill Foundation Board, a not-for-profit organization that provides funding to programs and organizations that benefit the Rockford region’s disadvantaged youth, and Midway Village Museum which collects, preserves and interprets the diverse history of the Rockford region.
