A Day in the Life at Chartwell Agency

You’ve followed Chartwell Agency on social media, seen our team members at community events and perused our website to learn more about Chartwell’s expertise. You may know WHAT we do, but I want to give you a look behind the scenes of HOW we do it. In my opinion, that’s just as important. From its headquarters in Rockford’s revitalized downtown district, I’m sharing a day in the life at Chartwell Agency.

9:30 a.m. The Chartwell Agency team is gathering, coffee in-hand, for its Monday morning staff meeting – an opportunity to come together and talk about our latest accomplishments, client projects and successes, and upcoming opportunities. We strategize on behalf of clients and share industry trends.

As an agency embracing a “team approach” to serving clients, individuals at all levels of our organization are incredibly invested in the success of the clients we work with. Though we’re contained within the four walls of our office, we’re bringing out-of-the-box ideas and strategy to the table. In our conference room-turned-think tank, Chartwell’s art director, communications strategists, senior leadership team and office manager join forces to develop campaigns, content and strategy that will help our clients achieve their goals and exceed their expectations.

11 a.m. Things are buzzing at Chartwell Agency – team members hit the ground running to achieve results for clients. We’re in the office, in a local coffee shop, or working remotely from any location we choose. Chartwell is a Results-Only Work Environment (ROWE™). ROWE allows us to work when we want, where we want and how we want as long as clients garner results.  We’re writing content, pitching stories to media outlets across the country, and developing fully integrated marketing strategies. Between client initiatives, and community and industry events, there’s never a dull moment. Just the way we like it.

12 p.m. Did somebody say lunch?

2 p.m. Communications strategists are out and about, meeting with clients. Nurturing relationships with clients is a priority at Chartwell Agency. We make an effort to meet with clients in person, over the phone or via video chat on a regular basis. We believe that connecting face-to-face or voice-to-voice is key to relationship-building and understanding our clients’ needs, feedback and tone.

4 p.m. It’s heads-down time. We’re putting the finishing touches on a blog post, patient story or bylined article. Chartwell’s art director is developing creative for an upcoming campaign or testing a website that’s on its way to go-live. Perhaps, one of our experts is completing a training session at a local business or organization.

5 p.m. After a productive day, our office manager locks the Chartwell Agency office doors for the evening, but our workday certainly doesn’t end at five. Thanks to ROWE, it ends any time we choose – earlier or later, allowing each of us to balance our work lives with personal lives.
