Chartwell Agency Completes New Website for National Center for Rural Health Professions’ Illinois AHEC Scholars Program

Rockford, Ill. (August 28, 2018) — Chartwell Agency recently completed a new website for the National Center for Rural Health Professions’ (NCRHP) Illinois Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Scholars Program.

 

NCRHP is an organization dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of rural communities throughout the world. It recently launched the Illinois AHEC Scholars Program, a competitive, two-year cohort program that expands on traditional health professions education and training with the goal of increasing awareness of, and interest in, healthcare professions in rural and underserved urban areas.

 

The Illinois AHEC Network is actively recruiting students currently enrolled in any of the multi-disciplinary fields of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy, public health, social work and other health professions. Competition for the time and talent of qualified prospects, especially those in the final two years of their programs, is challenging.

 

Chartwell Agency worked with NCRHP and AHEC network members to develop a microsite to function as an online interactive brochure that would allow prospects the opportunity to browse the national program overview, learn more about the Illinois state pilot program, view features and benefits and hear/read about the student experience through testimonials. The website also offers an online application form, basic contact form and quick links to associated national and Illinois AHEC partner organizations.
