Chartwell Agency Earns Four International Hermes Marketing Awards

Chartwell Agency, an award-winning marketing firm based in northern Illinois, recently received four international Hermes Creative Awards in marketing and public relations adding to the firm’s already impressive list of recognitions.

Hermes Creative Awards is one of the oldest and largest creative competitions in the world which honors the messengers and creators who are bringing ideas to life through traditional and digital platforms. Each year, competition judges evaluate the creative industry’s best publications, branding collateral, websites, videos, advertising, marketing, and communication programs.

This year, with more than 6,000 entries, Chartwell Agency was recognized by Hermes in the platinum, gold, and honorable mention categories. The firm received the following awards:

Platinum:

  • Meridian Trust “The Real Deal” Commercial: Chartwell Agency helped Meridian Trust, a full-service credit union based in Wyoming, Colorado, and Nebraska, develop a: 30 and :15 second commercial that stands out in a crowded marketplace of financial institutions. Using a lighthearted and fun tone, the firm played off the popular television program, The Bachelorette. In the spot, the bachelorette must evaluate the qualities of several institutions before presenting the final rose to her “forever credit union.”

Gold:

  • Alignment Rockford Website Redesign: Chartwell Agency used its expertise in user experience design, to develop a new website for Alignment Rockford that communicates its unique mission, expertise, and value to the community, all while reflecting best practices for intuitive navigation, search engine optimization, and modern website functionality.

Honorable Mention:

  • Crusader Community Health 50th Anniversary Invitation: Chartwell Agency worked with Crusader Community Health to create an invitation to its annual gala, to honor the milestone year. Having created the anniversary logo and brand, Chartwell was able to leverage design elements for the piece to celebrate the long history of the organization, create a sense of pride among Crusader’s care providers and staff, and provide an opportunity to effectively connect with donors, partners, influencers, and other key audiences important to Crusader’s ongoing success.
  • Highland Community College President’s Report. Chartwell Agency developed a series of visually appealing and engaging deliverables for the project including a mailer, video, and landing page. The direct mail piece was sent to members of the community and included a QR code to the landing page and video. The video featured the president of Highland Community College (Freeport, IL) sharing details on how the college was expanding and enhancing its programs and offerings and building on its 60-year legacy.
