Chartwell Agency Wins Seven ADDY Awards

Addy Awards 2018

Rockford, Ill. (March 26, 2018) — Chartwell Agency recently received seven ADDY Awards from the northern Illinois chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF). The awards were presented on March 9 during the annual ceremony and reception at the Prairie Street Brewhouse in Rockford, IL. The program honored the creative work of organizations, businesses and agencies in northern Illinois. Chartwell received the following recognitions:

Gold ADDY: Chartwell Agency developed a direct mail campaign and special events series for Wesley Willows, a senior living community, to qualify, advance and ultimately convert target prospects into new residents. As a Gold ADDY winner, the direct mail series will be entered into the regional AAF awards, which includes entries from Illinois, Indiana and Michigan.

Silver ADDY: Chartwell created a donor development brochure for Anderson Japanese Gardens which also could be used for member mailings, face-to-face meetings or sent independently as an annual appeal piece. The brochure took full advantage of the beauty and popularity of Anderson Japanese Gardens in its design and approach.

Silver ADDY: Chartwell Agency designed and implemented a full-page ad in the Rockford Register Star for the Police Benevolent & Protective Association (PBPA) Unit #6 to humbly thank the community for its love, prayers and countless gestures of support following the tragic death of a fellow officer in November 2017.

Bronze ADDY: Chartwell Agency’s weekly blog, Chartwell Insights, was recognized for its relevant, timely and memorable content. Posting 50 blogs in 2017,Chartwell Insights positions Chartwell team members as thought leaders in the industry.

Bronze ADDY: Chartwell created a multi-pronged strategy and creative campaign entitled “Get a Leg Up on Life” for Northern Illinois Vein Clinic. The double entendre of the campaign tagline literally references and draws emphasis to the legs, the area of focus for the medical practice, as well as quality of life for patients. Two 30-second commercials were produced as part of this campaign, each linking five scenes that transition seamlessly from one activity to another and each showing people their everyday life – all without pain.

Bronze ADDY: Chartwell Agency received recognition for the website redesign for senior living facility Wesley Willows. The user-friendly site embraces the hospitality-level living offered by the senior housing organization and combines best practices for optimization, responsiveness, intuitive navigation and functionality.

Bronze ADDY: When the Rockford region’s largest locally-owned and managed bank announced it was being acquired by a large, out-of-town conglomerate, Chartwell Agency created an aggressive integrated campaign for Rockford Bank & Trust. The campaign, titled “Rockford is in Our Name for a Reason,” was simple in design and easy to translate across print, digital, billboards, television and radio.
