Nearly 250 team members offer comprehensive, fee-only investment management, financial planning, retirement planning, and family office services to financially established individuals and institutions.
With the increase in e-learning and video consumption during 2020, Savant saw an opportunity to virtually educate potential investors. The goal was to empower consumers to make more informed and effective financial decisions.
Savant sought Chartwell’s expertise in marketing their updated evidence-based investment (EBI) whitepaper. The plan included a series of short-form videos and blogs to explain the process and promote the attributes of the EBI methodology and contrast it to more conventional investing constructs. Together with the in-depth whitepaper, the videos would serve as a learning center targeting current and prospective clients.
Chartwell Agency directed the production of a suite of educational tools featuring six videos and six blogs to reside on a Savant landing page. The videos, each running four to eight minutes in length, outlined the EBI decision-making framework—a key differentiator of Savant’s investment approach. Once the platform was live, Chartwell Agency secured media coverage in key regional markets to publicize the learning center.
The new e-learning format breaks down a potentially complex topic into manageably sized “lessons.” Savant advisors are finding the content to be an asset, providing thorough, flexible, and time-saving education for clients and prospects.
In fact, within just three weeks of their debut, the videos were viewed nearly 500 times, and the blogs were read more than 900 times. Users of the content also had lengthy engagement, an indicator of the high level of quality of the material and its promotion within its targeted audience.
