Strategic Donor Publication Honors Past, Present, and Future of The Meadows School

Chartwell Agency began the project by immersing itself in the school’s goals and objectives. Through school tours, meetings with administrators, faculty, and students, and a thorough understanding of the school’s mission, vision, and core values, Chartwell collaborated with the client to generate creative concepts and a new name for the publication. The chosen name, Scholar Lane, held historical significance as the school’s address and the title of a previous publication.

Chartwell developed the flagship story, “A Celebration of Legacy” as the theme running throughout the publication. All of the content would highlight The Meadows’ dedication to excellence and how it serves as the foundation upon which the entire student experience is built. The publication relayed a unifying message of pride that connects the past, present, and future. To achieve this goal, Chartwell developed catchy headlines, captions, articles, interviews and calls to action.

For the creative design, Chartwell employed a streamlined magazine look and feel to captivate the audience. Each page incorporated a leaf motif from the cover, tying the publication together with a cohesive design element. Images taken during a campus-wide photo shoot of students from PreK3 through senior year captured the students’ enthusiasm, energy, and spirit that defines The Meadows students. These photos were used throughout the publication, establishing a genuine connection with readers. In addition, infographics and charts presented normally dry statistics and data in a visually appealing manner.
