Chartwell Agency Completes Rebrand, New Website for Winnebago County Animal Services
Chartwell Agency recently completed the rebrand and new website for Winnebago County Animal Services.
Winnebago County Animal Services is a department of Winnebago County government covering more than 500 square miles and serving the more than 280,000 residents. It provides services including pet registration, veterinary care to animals in need, animal welfare and cruelty investigations, pet adoptions, and more.
The organization wanted to share its unique role as a department of County government as well as improvements which lead to more positive outcomes for the pets and people of Winnebago County. Chartwell facilitated a process to develop brand messaging and a graphic identity that highlighted the mission and role of Animal Services as a department of Winnebago County. This work served as the foundation for the website, timed to launch with the debut of a new shelter management system.
The new website better reflects the organization, is easier to navigate, facilitates service, and improves access to information about responsible pet ownership, animal safety and more. By integrating with the new shelter management system, adoptable pets are updated on the site in practical real time, and residents can easily begin the adoption process online. The site also includes features that allow residents to request other services, share lost pets and found strays, and access a library of helpful articles and resources. The user-friendly web platform allows Animal Services staff to manage most ongoing website maintenance needs, ensuring the site’s content remains current and valuable.
““Our logo and new website reflect our mission for serving people and saving pets in Winnebago County,” said Brett Frazier, Administrator, Winnebago County Animal Services. “The rebrand and website development process was a large undertaking and working collaboratively with the Chartwell team helped us deliver an experience that is among the best in the industry.”
Chartwell also assisted with the public launch of the new brand and website, sharing the organization’s success and promoting the new website resource with the community.
