Chartwell Agency Earns Four dotCOMM Awards

Chartwell Agency, an award-winning marketing firm based in northern Illinois, recently received four dotCOMM Awards from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. This prestigious recognition honors the firm among some of the top web and digital organizations in the industry.

The dotCOMM Awards is an international competition honoring excellence in web creativity and digital communication. The competition is unique in that it reflects the role of creatives in the dynamic web that is transforming how organizations market and communicate products and services. Since its inception in 1994, more than 200,000 entries have been submitted throughout more than 80 countries.

This year, Chartwell Agency received a platinum award, the top honor, as well as gold and honorable mentions. The firm received the following recognitions:

Platinum:

  • Rockford University Horizon Grant Campaign: Using its expertise in integrated campaigns, Chartwell Agency helped Rockford University create a name and campaign concept to promote its Horizon Grant, which allows new or transfer students to attend the university for $5,000 a year. As part of the project, the firm developed content and creative for a website landing page, targeted email, social media and display ads, and a 30-second commercial.

Gold:

  • Klehm Arboretum Website Redesign: Chartwell Agency worked with Klehm Arboretum to design a website that would simplify and streamline the experience for website visitors. The new and improved design boasts intuitive navigation and vibrant photography and video. In addition, the firm helped the organization to develop landing pages for priority summer events that allowed users to easily find key information of interest to them.

Honorable Mention:

  • Alignment Rockford Website Redesign: Chartwell Agency used its expertise in user experience design, to develop a new website for Alignment Rockford that communicates its unique mission, expertise, and value to the community, all while reflecting best practices for intuitive navigation, search engine optimization, and modern website functionality.
  • Rock River Valley Blood Center (RRVBC) “We Need Blood Like . . .” Campaign: Chartwell Agency created the “We Need Blood Like . . .” campaign to reinforce the importance of blood donation in the community. The campaign is scalable to the target market and season, allowing it to be switched out based on the audience or time of year (”We Need Blood Like Mom Needs a Nap” or “We Need Blood Like Santa Needs a Sleigh”), and flexible to allow a longer campaign lifespan. RRVBC used the campaign across multiple mediums including digital, social and traditional advertising.
