Northern Illinois Vein Clinic (NIVC), located in Rockford, Illinois, and Gilvydis Vein Clinic (GVC), located in Geneva and Sycamore, Illinois provide innovative, nonsurgical treatments for patients suffering from painful and unsightly leg vein issues. Care is delivered by a team of advanced professionals using state-of-the-art, minimally invasive techniques to help individuals get back to their active lifestyles with minimal discomfort and little-to-no downtime. Dr. Rimas Gilvydis has performed more than 20,000 successful procedures with excellent outcomes since these techniques were first introduced in 2001.
Chartwell Agency redesigned the NIVC and GVC websites to accurately and authentically reflect the innovation and patient care the organization provides to its patients. The site also was updated to implement best practices for design, navigation and responsiveness. The website became the practice’s “virtual front door” where patients, community members, referring physicians and others find it intuitive and easy to browse, engage, and enhance their understanding of the practice and its locations, physicians and specialties.
Chartwell visually refined the existing brand with an update of the logo, color palette and imagery. The new website was designed with the “mobile-first” approach, given that the increasing majority of patients are browsing and accessing information from mobile devices. The site also highlights direct calls to action to allow patients easy access to call or request appointments.
Through the enhanced site, the staff is able to create a more personal connection to patients before they even walk into the clinic. This was done by leveraging videos, before-and-after images and patient testimonials, which also further enhance the educational/informational aspect of the site. The website leverages best practices for web content, search engine optimization and future scalability.
