Annual Giving Video Tells The Meadows School’s Story Through Student and Faculty Voices

The Meadows School is a nonprofit, nonsectarian, independent college prep day school located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Designed to both push and support academically ambitious students, The Meadows Schools provides highly trained faculty, robust academic offerings, and top-notch arts and athletics that build the skills, character, and confidence for students to be successful in college and beyond.

Chartwell Agency was approached by The Meadows School to create a video for its annual giving strategy using the campaign concept (also developed by Chartwell): “Celebrating Excellence: Rooted in Meadows.” The school used the video to supplement other tactics for the campaign such as emails and print collateral. As a multimedia piece, the video serves to tell the story of The Meadows School from the perspective of faculty and students to connect and engage with potential donors.

Solution

Leveraging the overall campaign theme, “Celebrating Excellence: Rooted in Meadows,” Chartwell partnered with The Meadows School to create an eight minute Annual Fund Video that enhanced the awareness of the school and its programs, and shared a unified message on the impact The Meadows School has had on students, faculty, alumni, and the community.

The firm managed all pre-production aspects of the project including concepting, storyboarding, scripting, copywriting, location scouting, logistics, and interview preparation.

Chartwell oversaw on-site production of the two-day video shoot in Las Vegas to capture interviews and appropriate footage. The firm supplied an onsite producer, interviewer, and art director to ensure all key messages and b-roll were captured based on the storyboard and script.

Chartwell’s creative services team then finalized the video with digital editing, motion graphics, text overlay and music. The video included a consistent intro and outro for a refined, cohesive look.

The final video was shared on the school’s website and social media pages and was promoted through various email campaigns.

Leveraging its expertise in education marketing, storytelling, and videography, Chartwell Agency provided The Meadows School with a compelling video that created a connection to the audience and offered innovative visuals to draw in the viewer. The video:
