Chartwell Agency, an award-winning marketing firm based in northern Illinois, recently received five international Hermes Creative Awards from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.

Hermes Creative Awards is one of the oldest and largest creative competitions in the world which honors the messengers and creators who are bringing ideas to life through traditional and digital platforms. Each year, competition judges evaluate the creative industry’s best publications, branding collateral, websites, videos, advertising, marketing, and communication programs.

This year, Chartwell Agency received two platinum awards, the top honor, as well as two gold and one honorable mention. The firm earned the following recognitions:


  • The Meadows School Annual Fund Campaign: Chartwell Agency collaborated with The Meadows School to develop a versatile campaign concept spanning print, digital, social, video, and web platforms. This included crafting messaging, conducting a photo shoot, producing collateral such as emails, letters, and event invitations, creating social media content, producing campaign videos, launching a flagship annual publication, and designing a user-friendly microsite to highlight the impact of donations and streamline the donation process.
  • Great Rockford Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) Regional Overview: Chartwell Agency collaborated with GRCC to create a comprehensive regional overview, showcasing the strengths of the area in manufacturing, logistics, education, housing, employment, recreation, and infrastructure. Utilizing storytelling techniques, the firm crafted a visually engaging 20-page document that not only shared information but also highlighted the region’s appeal as a place to live, work, and play. The final piece is structured into chapters, each featuring vibrant photography, infographics, and key data points to cater to diverse audience interests and needs.


  • Crusader Community Health Website Design: Chartwell Agency helped Crusader Community Health to develop a website that meets the needs of its audience and can easily evolve with the ever-changing healthcare landscape. The redesigned website exemplifies Crusader Community Health’s commitment to excellence, accessibility, and patient-centered care.   • Rockford University New Degrees Campaign: Chartwell Agency collaborated with Rockford University to swiftly launch a digital campaign promoting five new degrees in high-demand fields. The campaign included targeted email, display, and social media ads, along with CTV, driving traffic to university-branded landing pages detailing each degree’s benefits, curriculum, and career opportunities. Engaging visuals and compelling copy were used to resonate with prospective students, encouraging them to apply for the programs.

  • Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity 30th Anniversary Video:Chartwell Agency partnered with Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity to celebrate its 35th anniversary by creating a suite of materials, including a heartfelt video, to highlight the organization’s impact and highlight the significance of safe and affordable housing. The goal was to emotionally connect with viewers, encouraging support through donations and volunteerism. The six-minute video, featuring vibrant footage and emotional interviews, was presented at the anniversary event, shared online, and will be used to continue spreading the organization’s story.
