Chartwell Agency, an award-winning marketing firm based in northern Illinois, recently received four national Educational Advertising Awards including one of the prized “Best of Show” recognitions.

In its 39th year, the Educational Advertising Awards is the largest awards competition in this industry in the country. This year, more than 2,000 entries were received from over 1,000 colleges, universities, and secondary schools from all 50 states and numerous foreign countries.

Chartwell received four recognitions including the prestigious top honor of “Best of Show” which signifies the firm’s exemplary performance and innovation in the marketing and communications field. The firm’s honors include:

“Best of Show” and Gold:

  • Rockford University Horizon Grant Campaign: Chartwell Agency partnered with Rockford University to launch an integrated campaign promoting the Horizon Grant, offering students the opportunity to attend for $5,000 a year for up to four years. Utilizing expertise in education marketing, the firm developed a comprehensive strategy including website development, targeted emails, digital ads, TV and radio commercials, and billboards. The scalable concept, featuring vibrant visuals and compelling messaging, effectively engaged prospective students and families, driving interest in the Horizon Grant program. Through strategic implementation and impactful messaging, Chartwell Agency facilitated increased awareness and enrollment for Rockford University’s Horizon Grant initiative.

Gold:

  • The Meadows School Annual Fund Campaign: Chartwell Agency collaborated with The Meadows School to develop a dynamic annual fund campaign aimed at fostering a culture of giving, boosting enrollment, and raising vital funds for key initiatives. The firm created a multifaceted campaign, encompassing print, digital, social, and video elements. The “Celebrating Excellence: Rooted in the Meadows” campaign effectively connected the school’s heritage and achievements with a compelling call to action, resulting in a 17% increase in participation rates and the highest fundraising amounts in eight years.

Bronze:

  • The Meadows School Scholar Lane Publication: In close collaboration with The Meadows School, Chartwell Agency developed creative concepts and revamped the publication’s former name to Scholar Lane, honoring the school’s rich history. The flagship story of the piece, “A Celebration of Legacy,” set the thematic tone, emphasizing The Meadows’ commitment to excellence across all aspects of student experience. With a streamlined magazine design incorporating cohesive visual elements and campus-wide photography, Scholar Lane effectively highlighted the school’s achievements, inspired pride, and garnered support for its mission and initiatives.
