Rural Medical Training Collaborative (RMTC), formerly known as The RTT Collaborative, is a nonprofit helping to sustain health education in rural places through cooperative relationships that support a quality rural workforce. The organization helps rural residency programs expand their visibility and promote the importance of specialized rural health programs and initiatives to potential students and rural communities.
As the demand for specialized rural health programs and initiatives continues to grow, the organization recognized the need to enhance its marketing efforts by developing a refreshed brand that better articulates its organizational purpose.
Solution
In partnership with Chartwell Agency, RMTC embarked on a rebranding initiative, drawing inspiration from its rich history and its unofficial tagline, “Growing Your Own.”
Leveraging its expertise in branding, Chartwell Agency collaborated with key stakeholders for clarification around the value and purpose of the organization. Then, through a creative exploration, a new brand identity emerged—one that honored the organization’s legacy while reflecting a modern take on its commitment to rural health education and its deep-rooted connection to the communities it serves.
In addition to a new brand identity which consisted of a logo, primary and secondary color palette and brand standards, Chartwell Agency also updated RMTC’s brand package including letterhead, envelopes, stationery, and business cards.
Outcomes
The launch of the refreshed brand identity marked a new chapter in RMTC’s journey—a chapter defined by clarity of purpose, enhanced visibility, and increased impact. Feedback from board members and other stakeholders was overwhelmingly positive, affirming the organization’s commitment to advancing rural health education and workforce development.
In addition, the organization was able to launch its new brand in time for its annual conference, further increasing visibility and building momentum and excitement for years to come.
